Malay Dwarf is a hardy variety with a mildly arching form. It has abundant leaves at the top of the plant which may become sparse around the lower areas as it ages, revealing motley yellow/green culms.
Primarily used as a living screen, but is great as a shade provider in an outdoor landscape. Also popular to create an ideal environment to under plant shade loving plants, or a low arbour to a protected pathway.
